Siemens choose Turfscape

synthetic grass

Siemens constructed a trim park facility next to its main building for their employers use during office hours and after hours.

It consist of several different obstacles courses, dual golf driving net, and a multipurpose court, for Volley ball and basket ball.

All the obstacles courses were grassed with our FT60 infill grass. They opted for the FT60 infill grass which provide maximum shock absorbency to minimize injuries to the users of the facility. The grass was installed on pre constructed asphalt bases.

They also opted for a Golf driving net, which we later converted to a dual system. This enabled them 2 golfers at the same time, using the driving net. This was done in such a way, that while the one still swings, it's totally save for the other to pick up his golf balls from the front of the net. We also install two loose driving mats for them, from which they can chip or drive. These driving mats had pre-painted lines on, to help the golfer with alignment, stance width and ball placement.

The multipurpose court base was constructed with asphalt too but our ND20 grass was used for the court. The grass was then top dressed with silica sand to provide the correct ball bounce. The temporary lines were painted on the court with a special paint. Permanent sport lines can be tufted in during the manufacturing process.
